Sati

The One Who is the first and foremost Consort of MahaDeva.
Sati is the form of Maa Adya.
She is representative of the feminine force that unifies with the masculine energy of Shiva, which is the essence of the Creation.
Sati is not only a daughter of Daksha but also a divine embodiment of Adya Shakti, descending to Earth for a specific purpose. Her life, love for Shiva, and subsequent sacrifice lead to the powerful reincarnation cycle, wherein Adya Shakti continually takes form to restore balance and teach devotion.
Thus, Sati’s life represents Maa’s descent into the material world, emphasizing both the human and divine aspects of Maa.
Sati embodies, pure devotion, self-sacrifice and strength, the qualities bestowed on the Sadhak on the path of Her sadhana.
Maa Sati’s painful sacrifice to create and give to the Upasakas the SakthiPeetahs, was also a lesson on the sheer of pain one must go through to attain Sakthi.
Hence the name Sati.
