The One who is Cause of Ithihasa, that is Ramayana.
Devi Sita, an Avatar of Maa Adya Kali, was the nimitha placed to end the reign of the undefeatable Ravana, at the hands of the 8th Rudra, Shri Rama and the Avatar of Shri Hari, MahaVishnu, Shri Rama.
Though rarely revealed, Maa Sita is the architect of the entire events of Ramayana; she is also the one who ensures its recording by Rishi Valmiki, by carefully planting this idea in the Mind of Shri Rama that he may only send her to his Ashrama, and not to any other place. It is upon her arrival at the Ashrama that Valmiki gets the divine intervention to write the Ramayana.
