She is the one who gives the Upasakas the ability to retain knowledge, and realise the esoteric depth within.
It is not just about knowing the words and merely repeating them. One must obtain her grace to be able to gleam the hidden Vidhya within every word written in the itihasas, nithis and gujya Vidhya, else one merely becomes a parrot of the written word.
Hence the name, Buddih
