Benaras – The biggest cremation ground and abode of Kaal Bhairava. She is that fire which engulfs all ego and identity on the funeral pyre. She who is revered by Kaal Bhairava Himself, who is the provider of justice, death and moksha.
She who even death cannot defy nor time, is Benaras, the living manifestation of Her power of dissolution and salvation.
Hence the name Kasi.
